This digital map takes you through the cultural heritage of Montenegro. It’s dedicated to Montenegrin citizens, scientific researchers, students, as well as tourists who want to learn more about the culture and history of Montenegro. CultDMap (Interactive Cultural Digital Map of Montenegro) was implemented by Cikom and the Faculty of Arts UDG as a part of the Program of the European Union and Montenegro for employment, education and social protection.
Niksic is the first municipality covered by the project. This municipality, territorially the largest in the former Yugoslavia, is recognized for the richness of its cultural layers, architectural heritage and numerous cultural and historical monuments in public space. Niksic is known for internationally significant intellectuals and creators in the field of literature, film, theater and music, as well as poets, sculptors and actors.
The digital map covers sacral buildings, cultural-historical buildings, monuments and busts in public space, important architectural buildings, bridges, streets, prominent historical figures, etc. The map is accompanied by an illustrated guide, connected to the digital platform via a QR code system.
